Casa Flores Casitas

Nice rooms and buildings, pool area and view of whales and the Pacific. It's a little walk to the beach and a rough sandy road to get to the stay. Barb is a lovely innkeeper, super helpful for arrangements and recommendations. Very comfortable, a little noisy with neighbor dogs and construction but hey, this is Mexico!

We stayed for three nights and just blissed out with the views, the lovely flowers by the pool and the quiet get away. We saw whales just one minute after sitting down by the pool. It was a short walk to the beach and a short drive to town. We absolutely loved our stay and Barb was so accommodating to move us to an open casitas when our AC wasn’t working.

We stayed in the Lookout which was perfect for two! Very comfortable and roomy with a great deck overlooking the pool and incredible views of the ocean and sunset. Easy walk to the beach, wonderful refreshing pool with great lounging areas, and the friendliest adorable dogs. Barbara was a perfect host. Fully available for any questions while we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Loved it and will stay again as soon as we can!

If you're looking to enjoy a relaxing getaway far from the touristy resorts that dot the Baja California Sur coastline, then this is the perfect stay. Arriving at the casitas, you will be greeted by Frida, an adorable little chihuahua who relishes the Mexican sun. Barb, your host, is particularly generous with her time and goes out of her way to ensure you have everything required for your stay. Watching the sunset over the Pacific Ocean will be a highlight of each evening, as the sky unfurls a glorious gradient of orange and red. The shared pool is always the perfect temperature and the rooms are clean and cosy. I cannot thank Barb enough for creating such a restful experience for her guests. We met some lovely visitors during our stay, yet it felt as though we had the entire place to ourselves most of the time. If you decide to stay, make sure you give Frida a cuddle each morning and enjoy the most mouthwatering pastries at Taller 17, a cute little cafe an 8-minute drive away.

My partner and I (plus our two perritos) staid for a few days at Casa Flores Casitas. The serenity of the area with ocean view is just stunning, not to mention how nice Barbara and Frieda (her small chihuahua) are!! Everything is so relaxed, calm and clean around there, so we decided to stay an extra two more nights :-D Downtown with its great restaurants, pedcaderias (to bbq your own fish), great neverias and the famous Hote California are just around the corner and the beach is maybe a 5 minute walk!! Thanks again Barbara, we’ll be back!!
